Oplu is leading the search for a Financial Operations Associate to support the middle and back office of a single-family office.
This is a role for someone with 2-5 years’ experience in fund administration, portfolio or asset management operations, audit, banking operations, or a family office. The remit covers PE/VC fund operations, payments, document filing, and general administrative follow-up.

The Opportunity
The single-family office manages a diversified PE/VC portfolio with US and Cayman structuring. The Financial Operations Associate sits at the centre of the middle and back office, keeping the fund operations discipline running smoothly, tracking capital calls and reconciliations, preparing payment instructions, coordinating with immigration counsel on US visa matters, and working alongside advisors on US tax and Cayman administration.
This is a hands-on, detail-heavy role for someone who is careful with numbers, tidy with electronic filing, and comfortable handling many small tasks at once. Confidentiality is fundamental.
The role is a route into single-family office finance and fund operations for a strong candidate with a well-regarded academic background.

Basic PE/VC terminology fluency, including commitment, capital call, distribution, recallable amounts, NAV, management fee, and carried interest, is expected. Comfort with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Drive, and Sheets, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Documents and email
- Check the shared inbox every day and flag anything that needs action.
- Save incoming documents, including fund notices, statements, and agreements, to the correct Google Drive folders.
- Send relevant documents to the team by email.
PE/VC fund operations
- Record capital call notices in the cash flow sheet and check called and uncalled amounts against fund records.
- Check capital account statements against internal records, then file and share them.
- Check management fees on capital call notices against fund terms and follow up on differences.
- Complete monthly line-by-line reconciliations against internal records.
- Complete new PE/VC subscription packs, including forms and KYC documents, and archive the signed copies.
- Track payments for new direct investments and update portfolio records.
Payments and invoices
- Prepare payment instructions for capital calls and plan payment dates with the EA team.
- Track engagement letters and invoices.
- Follow up smaller invoices until they are paid.
- Update bank balances across multiple banks twice a month and report internally.
Administration and coordination
- Follow up US visa matters with immigration counsel.
- Keep PE/VC files for US tax purposes and work with advisors.
- Coordinate with Cayman administration on relevant matters.
- Handle urgent ad hoc tasks through to completion.
Requirements
Must-haves
- Turkish language essential. Fluent Turkish, spoken and written.
- 2-5 years of experience in fund administration, portfolio or asset management operations, audit, banking operations, or a family office.
- Excellent academic background essential. Top-tier high school and university education required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a similar discipline.
- Working knowledge of basic PE/VC terminology: commitment, capital call, distribution, recallable amounts, NAV, management fee, and carried interest.
- Good spreadsheet skills. Comfortable building reconciliations in Google Sheets.
- Comfortable with Google Workspace, including Gmail and Drive, and disciplined with electronic filing.
- Good written English.
- Careful with numbers and deadlines.
- Strong at follow-up.
- Able to handle many small tasks at once and flag anything that looks wrong.
