Overview

Oplu is leading the search for a Private Massage Therapist to join the household of a VVIP private principal based in the Middle East. This is a confidential appointment at a tier that requires absolute discretion.

The successful candidate delivers massage and body treatments on a dedicated, in-household basis, with the quiet consistency and personal care that a VVIP private environment requires. The role is in-residence, not within a wider spa team.

In Oplu terms, VVIP means royal households, senior dignitaries, embassy-grade principals, and super-prime UHNW families where protocol, discretion, and consistency over years are a baseline, not an aspiration.

Who this role suits

VVIP tier only. A senior Massage Therapist with a proven, confirmed track record delivering in-household treatments to a principal of exactly this profile. Not aspirational, not transitional, not a step up from the broader spa or UHNW tier. The successful candidate has already done this work, for this type of household, over years.

Backgrounds that translate directly: in-household Massage Therapist at a royal household, embassy residence, dignitary household, or super-prime UHNW principal; dedicated therapist to a VVIP family with ten-plus years' verifiable record; private spa therapist with time inside a comparable VVIP private residence.

Not a fit: senior commercial spa therapists without principal-residence VVIP exposure; therapists transitioning from hotel spas without private-household track record; candidates ready to step up to the VVIP tier but without the confirmed principal-side history.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver massage and body treatments to the Principal to the highest professional standard.
  • Carry out full consultations before every treatment; adapt treatments to the Principal's needs and preferences.
  • Maintain treatment records and uphold complete confidentiality on all health, scheduling, and household information.
  • Keep treatment areas, products, and equipment to the highest standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Operate as part of the wider private-household team, holding discretion as a baseline, not a request.

Requirements

Must-haves

  • Proven, confirmed track record as a Massage Therapist at the VVIP tier (royal household, embassy residence, dignitary household, or super-prime UHNW principal). Not a step-up role; not a first move into VVIP from a commercial spa or hotel environment.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a Massage Therapist, with substantial time inside a private VVIP household or equivalent closed-environment setting.
  • Recognised Level 3 (or international equivalent) qualification in massage therapy.
  • Valid professional insurance (or willingness to arrange prior to placement).
  • Broad treatment repertoire (for example Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy).
  • Absolute discretion and comfort with highly confidential environments.
  • Comfortable signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement before further details are shared.

Strong advantage

  • Prior VVIP private household experience.
  • Additional specialisms (pregnancy, sports, lymphatic drainage, facials).
  • Additional languages, particularly Arabic.
